The A.B.C. Dando Residence, built in 1913, represents the extension of residential development north of the Bow River during Calgary's first population boom of 1907-13 and of the development of Hillhurst, one of Calgary’s earliest neighbourhoods north of the river. This is a fine, highly detailed example of a Craftsman bungalow—a familiar style in the neighbourhood—with excellent integrity. (Style Value, Community Significance)
