Step into the past with a private historic walking tour reserved just for your group!
Our private historic walking tours bring Calgary’s past to life with fascinating stories, hidden details, and the people and places that shaped our city. This is a great option for families, friends, school groups, clubs, corporate outings, or anyone who wants to experience local history together.
Private tour: $400 for up to 20 people. We currently offer tours of Stephen Avenue and Inglewood.

Self-Guided Walking Tours
Heritage Calgary has created a series of self-guided walking tours for those who want to get out and explore their communities. The tours are self-directed and can be explored from any point on the map.
We acknowledge the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta. This includes: the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations collectively known as the Blackfoot Confederacy, along with the Blackfeet in Montana; the Îethka Nakoda Wîcastabi (Stoney Nakoda) First Nations, comprised of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations; and the Tsuut’ina First Nation. The city of Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3. We acknowledge all Indigenous urban Calgarians, First Nations, Inuit, and Métis who have made Calgary their home.
