Heritage Calgary is pleased to introduce Leanne Cherry, the interim Executive Director at Heritage Calgary starting May 1st.
Leanne Cherry is a leadership advisor, executive coach, and interim leader with over fifteen years of experience in leadership and talent development. She partners with clients to help grow strong teams, foster collaboration, and achieve organizational goals. As Chief Talent Officer at a national law firm, Leanne honed her leadership skills, overseeing a team of fifty dedicated professionals, working closely with the National Management team, and regularly reporting to the firm’s Board of Directors. Through these experiences, she developed a deep understanding of the importance of balancing strategy, operations, and people.
Known for her down-to-earth approach and commitment to building trust, Leanne brings a steady, supportive presence to organizations, leaders, and teams. She believes strong leadership is built on listening, learning, and working alongside others to create positive and lasting impact.
Leanne has contributed her time and expertise to several boards and currently serves as a board member of Women in Need Society (WINS). Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her partner, Malcolm, her adult children, and her much-loved trio of dogs.
